To create GPRS
a ) Head to Menu > Connectivity > Data Communication > Data Accounts
b ) Now choose New Account and choose Account Type as GPRS data
c ) Enter New Account as Vodafone live
d ) Then complete the fields below:
APN: portalnmms
Login ID:
Password:
e ) Click Save
Once you´re done, return to Connectivity and:
a ) Select Internet Settings and go to Internet Profiles
b ) Select New Profile and enter name: Vodafone live
c ) Connect using Vodafone live
d ) Save the settings and return to Internet Profiles
e ) Now under Vodafone live, select many visit Settings
f ) Now enter the following details:
Connect using: Vodafone live
Internet Mode: http
Use proxy: Yes
IP address: 10.10.1.100
Port No.: 9401
Username: _____
Password :_____
g ) When you have entered everything, select Save
h ) Now visit advance settings in the more options again
i ) Select Change Homepage option and go into the following details:
Name: Vodafone live
Address: http://live.vodafone.in
j ) Now click on Save.
k ) Go back to Internet Profiles and select Vodafone live
To create MMS
To manually build MMS on your phone, follow these simple steps:
a ) Check out Menu > Connectivity > Data Communication > Data Accounts
b ) Now choose New Account and select Account Type as GPRS data
c ) Enter New Account as Vodafone live
d ) Then fill up the fields below
APN: portalnmms
Username: _____
Password :_____
e ) Now check out Messaging and select Settings
f ) Head to Picture messages and select Internet profiles
g ) Select New profile and go into the following details:
Name: Vodafone MMS
Connect Using: Vodafone MMS
Ip: 10.10.1.100
Username: _____
Password :_____
h ) Now click on Save
i ) Now turn back to Picture Messages menu
j ) Enter in the Message Server Address: http://mms1.live.vodafone.in/mms/
